GLOW - supporting civic leadership skills of young women in the Czech Republic and Georgia

Project background

The project is financially supported by the Erasmus+ programme.

No country in the world has achieved gender equality. That is why the project “GLOW – Supporting civic and leadership skills of young women in Georgia and the Czech Republic” was created.
The joint project of the Czech NGO Agora CE and the Georgian NGO GLOW aims to strengthen the knowledge and skills of ten Czech and ten Georgian young women and girls, leading them to become confident leaders of tomorrow’s world.

The project includes reciprocal visits of the two groups first to the Czech Republic and then to Georgia. Participants will attend workshops on community engagement, gender equality and meet inspiring leaders from the public and non-profit spheres.

The project culminates in a public event that each participant will organize in her community, in her place of residence or school. At the same time, a collection of interviews about inspirational women who motivate each girl was created.
