EUth: Strengthening Youth and Democracy in Europe

Project objectives

This project is supported by Erasmus+

– to create a platform of NGOs from five countries for cooperation and knowledge sharing in the field of youth work
– to develop civic skills, active citizenship and democratic values ​​among young people
– to promote European values ​​and a sense of identity between European NGOs and
young people and to develop an understanding of common European challenges

Project duration: 12/2023 – 12/2025

Activities include:

NGOs Ideas Hub: 5 mutual study visits and workshops to support knowledge sharing, capacity building and innovation among consortium partners
Youth Bridge: 2 international youth exchanges and a study trip to Brussels to develop leadership skills, actively promote citizenship and connect young people with politicians
Youth Voice: a total of 25 workshops (5 in each partner country) to enable young people to participate in democratic processes and solve local or global problems.
Results

A handbook containing best practices from the partner consortium, together with innovative and easy-to-use tools and methods to increase youth engagement in civic education.
The young people involved in the project will provide recommendations to European politicians on how to involve them in decision-making processes and how to address issues that are important to them.
The young people will create social media content aimed at local and national policymakers, highlighting current issues in Europe and proposing solutions.
